Ecological Economics

Ecological Economics focuses on how the goods and services we produce and consume, impact the planet and those living on it. 

This goal will cover themes of Procurement, Investment / Divestment and Waste.

Highlights of what we have planned to achieve by end of 2025: -

·       Develop a procurement guide.

·       Review current products used and identify environmentally friendly alternatives if applicable.

·       Include renewable energy into electricity contracting.

·       Campaigns to raise awareness of waste and segregation.

·       Review of Investment portfolio and exposure to Fossil Fuels

 

What we have achieved: -

·       Care of the Earth Procurement guide developed.

·       Bokashi Bin campaign

·       Renewable energy integrated into electricity contracts.
